Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 51.25 points at 10,770.35 while the BSE Sensex was down 155.30 points at 35,951.20 around 02:39 pm . 
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red. 
Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, ITC, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, SBI, ICICI Bank, NTPC, Hindalco Industries and Infosys were among the most traded shares on the NSE. 

Shares of private sector banks were trading in the red with the Nifty Private Bank index down 0.31 per cent at 15,479.15 on Friday. Shares of IndusInd Bank (down 2.55 per cent), YES Bank (down 1.71 per cent), South Indian Bank (NSE-1.59 %)Shares of IndusInd Bank (down 2.55 per cent), YES Bank (down 1.71 per cent).
